Flood the few to protect the many

Took some video which you can see on my Facebook page along the river today. Just so happened a Coast Guard helicopter was slowly going up and down the river checking river levels I guess. Since the opening of both spillways now the river should remain where it is for awhile. So the 14 feet of water in Downtown New Orleans that some predicted won't happen. The water now is about 3 feet from the pier's along the river as you can see in my Video. Still feel bad for the people and wildlife that are being flooded so we can stay dry.
