At today's prices, that means you're paying $900 more for gas in 2011 than you did in 2010 -- and the price per gallon is expected to keep increasing. For example, $160 of that $900 annual increase can be attributed just to last week. What can you do about it? Not much… TOP FIVE SIGNS THE PRICE OF GAS HAS GONE TOO HIGH 1. You have to choose between a kidney transplant or filling up 2. Bill Gates is complaining about it 3. The gas station is offering a free car with every fill up 4. When filling up, you opt for the 72-month payback plan 5. U.S. currency is now based on the gas standard TOP FIVE DRAWBACKS OF RISING GAS PRICES 1.Chevy Volt drivers rolling down windows to laugh out loud when they drive by gas stations 2.When we complain, have to constantly keep remembering new higher price 3.Oil company execs stuffing money in mattress now sleep 10-feet off floor 4.Most Americans having to cut back to only six meals a day 5.Gas station employees having to buy flack jackets to wear when they go change prices
