Now I’ve falling snow skiing plenty of times but never really got hurt, but if I was 63 years old I can see where I’d have a better chance of getting hurt. That’s what happened to James Taylor who says a broken leg won't keep him off the slopes. James fractured his left fibula and injured his left shoulder in a fall Monday on an expert trail while on a family vacation in Park City, Utah. Now I’m just an amateur skier so one reason I don’t get inured is because I’m only snowplowing down the slope at 2mph but James is really good and was probably flying down a steep slope. He was treated at a hospital and had a doctor fashion a movable split he hopes will fit in his boot and allow him to ski later in the week. He had a great line when asked about his injury, he said, “Given all the problems in the world, his mishap was nothing." He on vacation till his next big event when he’s scheduled to host and perform at a Carnegie Hall benefit next month

Here at World Spinner we are debating the same thing......
I wont comment on that. The nine women and three men had begun their deliberations Thursday afternoon following a seven-day trial that consisted of listening to tapes and poring over documents.Reyat has now been convicted three times in connection with the B.C.-made bomb that brought Air India flight 182 on June 23 1985 and the same day blast at Tokyos Narita Airport that killed two baggage handlers.First he was convicted in 1991 by a judge of manslaughter in the Narita blast after components identical to ones he bought in Duncan B.C. were found in the debris of the suitcase that had been destined for an Air India flight. Then he pleaded guilty to manslaughter in February 2003 admitting that he bought the bomb parts that killed all 329 on Flight 182.The perjury conviction is based on false testimony he gave in September 2003 when he was called as a Crown witness against two other suspects who were eventually acquitted of all charges.Perviz Madon who lost her husband Sam in the Air India bombing said Saturday she was really happy with the decision. It is a good precedent-setting decision because people cannot lie under oath. This shows that when they do there will be consequences Madon said. She wishes Reyat would finally tell everything he knows about the bombing plot which still ranks as Canadas largest mass murder. If he had told the truth it would have really helped out case she said.Doust argued to the jury that Reyat lied because he wanted to minimize his involvement and cover-up for his co-conspirators.Donaldson claimed Reyat was just confused on the stand and also really had trouble remembering events from 18 years earlier.Doust pointed to 19 specific incidents where he said he could prove Reyat lied including when he claimed not to know the identity of the mysterious Mister X to whom he gave the bomb parts. And Doust said that common sense dictates that anyone involved in a terrorist attack killing 331 people would remember more than Reyat claimed to on the stand. He didnt tell us the truth and he didnt tell us the whole truth Doust said.He has an interest in protecting others who were involved....he wanted to protect himself from retribution by the people who committed this horrendous crime.Doust also said Reyats testimony at times was silly like when he claimed that he wrote down Mister Xs telephone number in Toronto but couldnt explain who he would have asked for if he had called. Is this a man you can accept that he never had the name of?Reyat testified in 2003 that dynamite he had acquired just before the Air India bombings was not for the explosive devices he had been asked to build but for clearing unidentified stumps if need be in the future.Thats not sensible its not reasonable it does not fit with the context and it is just silly Doust said.He also said Reyat lied repeatedly when he claimed not to recall why Babbar Khalsa leader Talwinder Singh Parmar asked for Reyats help in building bombs. How many times in life do people get asked to build explosive devices?
