The Adele Tribute to George Michael Everyone's Talking About
The biggest moment of the 2017 Grammy Awards was never meant to happen. Adele, who won every award she was nominated for, had already opened the show performing one of her own songs. So while it was a very big night for her, she had previously let it be known how seriously she was taking the tribute she was performing in honor of someone else. The George Michael tribute seemed to get off to a fine start, but Adele didn't see it that way and stopped everything to make sure she got it right. With lots of apologies and saying how she "can't mess this up for him."
