Rumors have been flying for weeks and now itâs been confirmed that actress Meg Ryan has been dating singer John Mellencamp. Sources say the Youâve Got Mail star has always had a crush on the musician, who just announced that he and his wife are divorcing after 18 years of marriage. âMeg has liked John for a long time, and they are very comfortable together,â a pal told the PopEater website. âThey already looked like an old married couple when they strolled through New York's West Village or spent time on Marthaâs Vineyard. They donât care what people say. They are in love. As far as Meg is concerned, life is too short to not grab happiness when it comes along. She has nothing to prove to anyone.â Mellencamp and Ryan have been dating for around 7 weeks.
